Fall in Southern California is beautiful. Warm, summery weather sometimes lasts all the way through November. It’s certainly nothing to complain about, but by October I’m usually dying to get into some beautiful fall colors and sumptuous alpaca. That was the inspiration to create a sleeveless top for Fall. The recycled sari silk yarn has the jewel tones I want to wear in the Fall, and the alpaca allows for warmth on cool Fall mornings. On those beautiful warm days, just a camisole underneath will suffice. When the weather finally turns cooler (or for those cool-climate folks) a long sleeve shirt or sweater can replace the camisole. The top is brought together at the waist with hooks and eyes, to give it an hourglass shape that flatters the figure. It looks great with a cute obi-style belt as well.
